To support and strengthen the Sheridan community through charitable giving and philanthropic education.

We are so fortunate to live in Sheridan, Wyoming, a beautiful place with people who care deeply for one another and who are actively building toward long-term prosperity for all. Through this spirit of community-mindedness we’ve built incredible resources for people of all ages.

If you live here, you know. We come together to help one another; we’ve built a culture of giving and caring, ensuring our community thrives now and well into the future. Giving can be confusing — and often you don’t really know how your funds are going to be spent. Is there excessive administrative overhead? Will my donation support real needs? How can I make sure my giving, at whatever level I am able to give, makes a difference?

Sheridan Community Foundation is our community’s go-to nonprofit foundation designed for everyone, of all means, to make a positive, lasting impact. We exist to carry on Sheridan’s legacy of giving back, and at SCF, everyone’s ability to give is highly valued and in fact necessary to success. The foundation’s unique expertise lies in maximizing the immediate and long-term value of every single donor dollar, then placing it where it will make the absolute greatest impact, especially where a worthy unmet need exists.
